JUSTIN STEIN (CODY) is thrilled to be working with the talented Jessica Redish and other members of the LA RED board whom he has admired for years. Most recently seen touring the country as the opening act for Corbin Bleu, Jesse McCartney, Jordin Sparks and Raven-Symone, Justin is excited to return to his musical theatre roots. A recent graduate of New Trier High School, Justin will be attending New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts in the fall of 2009. Previous productions include: Camelot Live from Lincoln Center (Page); Gypsy, The Ravinia Festival (starring Patti LuPone); Ragtime (Younger Brother) and Secret Garden (Dickon) for Porchlight Theatre; To Kill a Mockingbird (Dill) and Big (Billy) at Apple Tree Theatre; Bye, Bye Birdie (Randolph) at Marriott Theatre. Justin has also performed as a soloist at Chicago’s Symphony Center and on The Rosie O’ Donnell Show. JASON BOWEN (TURTLE NECK) is a native of Indiana and a graduate of Indiana State University. He has resided in Chicago for roughly the last ten years and is a proud founding member and Managing Director of Quest Theatre Ensemble-The People’s Theater of Chicago. (QTE) (www.questensemble.org) Jason recently returned to Chicago from sailing Europe as the Cruise Director aboard the Norwegian Jade with Norwegian Cruise lines. Some of his credits with QTE are Tinman-The Wizard of OZ, the title role in Barry Manilow’s The Drunkard and 6 years touring the Midwest with Blue Nativity. In 2007 he had the pleasure of touring Blue Nativity to Germany, Switzerland and Amsterdam. Other Regional and Chicago favorites include: El Gallo-The Fantasticks (Fetre Theatre); Zorro-Alas! Alack! Zorro's Back! (Showboat Becky Thatcher); Tony & Vinnie Black-Tony’n’Tina’s Wedding; Peter Stossel-Christmas Schooner; Nick-A Kiss from Alexander (Bailiwick-Jeff Nominated), Sam-Bark! The Musical (Chicago Center for Performing Arts); Berger-Hair (Stage-Two) and Paul-Barefoot in the Park (Stage Right). Jason's commercial work includes Sargento Deli-Style Slices, Rentway, Tequila Rose and numerous industrials. He is well versed in large-scale puppet design and manipulation and is an impressive stilt dancer. While not stilting and puppeting, Jason is a youth drama instructor with Stage Coach Northshore.
   
REBECCA CHICOINE (SALLY FIELD) is a recent transplant to Chicago, her first show here being The Miracle Worker (Annie Sullivan) with Lincoln Square Theatre. After recently graduating from the Univ. of Wisconsin- Madison (B.A. in Theatre and Legal Studies), she worked with Madison Repertory Theatre on The Greeks and the Armory Dinner Theatre in Sweeney Todd, both in Wisconsin. Other productions in Madison include: You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown (Sally Brown), On the Razzle (Lisette), To Kill a Mockingbird (Mayella Ewell), The Fantasticks (Luisa), and A Streetcar Named Desire. This is her first production with La Red and she couldn't be more excited!
   
MEGAN PIETRANTONIO (AMBER) is excited to work on her first production at La Red Music Theatre. Megan is going into her senior year at The Chicago College of Performing Arts and Roosevelt University where she is pursuing a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre. Recently Megan has performed in many musical showcases in the Miller Theatre at C.C.P.A. Other credits include: Little Shop of Horrors (Audrey) at The School for Creative and Performing Arts, Beauty and the Beast (Silly Girl U/S) with The Muse Machine, Once Upon a Mattress (Winnifred) at Springboro High School, Peter Pan (Jane, Lost Boy, Wendy U/S) at LaComedia Dinner Theatre. Megan also recently interned for Linda Gillum and the casting department at Remy Bumppo Theatre Company. She hopes to continue performing in both Chicago and New York City after she graduates.
   
EMILY ROGERS (LILY) is from Rockford, Illinois and has stopped counting the number of miles traveled over the past couple of years to and from Chicago and beyond. Credits include The American Girls Revue (American Girl Place Theatre, Chicago) and a performing member of the “Broadway Junior All Stars” (Music Theatre International, New York). In 2007 Emily was invited to perform Disney Broadway Collections with Kristin Chenoweth and Andrew Lippa at The Kennedy Center for The Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. That same year she was the recipient of the Junior Grand Champion Actor Award and was recognized with top industry professional awards for her dance and vocal performances at the World Championship of Performing Arts in Los Angeles. Additional stage credits include The Secret Garden (Mary Lennox), OZ (Dorothy), High School Musical (Gabriella), Diary of Adam & Eve from The Apple Tree (Eve), Thoroughly Modern Millie (Millie), Hairspray (Shelley), My Fair Lady (Eliza).
   
ANDREW TEMKIN (JAKE) is a junior at Illinois Wesleyan where he is majoring in music theatre. There, he has been featured in the mainstage productions of Of Thee I Sing! (Ensemble) and An Enemy of the People (Ensemble) as well as in the workshop of Lawrence Rush's new musical, Winter of the Fall (Postelnicu & others). He has also been seen in student productions of Do Re Mi (Brains Berman), Andrew Lippa's The Wild Party (Sam Himmelstein), Tenderloin (Joe Kovack), Translations (Jimmy Jack Cassie), Twelveth Night (Andrew Aguecheek), and Aria da Capo (Thyrsis). He has also performed in various cabarets on campus. This is his first production with La Red, about which he is positively thrilled. Thank you to friends and family as well as to Jessica for this fantastic opportunity.
   
AARON WHITE (TREVOR) is a junior at Highland Park High School where he recently played Roger in RENT, performed in the play Because They Have No Words and in the school's Short Play Festival in the play Cup 'O Noodles. He is working on STUNTS this year as writer. He plays soccer for the school's varsity team, is a dedicated musician, and is excited to be a part of this production.

BOBBY CRONIN (COMPOSER/LYRICIST/BOOKWRITER) is a composer/writer who “…thinks big. In all ways. Writing in a contemporary musical theatre vein, the songs are passionate and powerful in a take-no-prisoners way that will knock your socks off.” -- Rob Lester, Cabaret Exchange.

With many sold-out concerts throughout NYC featuring top-notch Broadway talent, his sought-after songs have been used by theatre companies and solo artists throughout NYC, Chicago, and Seattle stretching as far as Japan. Bobby was selected to write a song specifically for Eden Espinosa (Wicked) for the Broadway in South Africa benefit at Symphony Space and has also had concerts at Lincoln Center, Broadway’s Minskoff Theatre, The D-Lounge, and The Laurie Beechman.

He has directed, developed and written several musicals such as B.R.A.T.T. Camp; That’s Andy, a new musical about a boy who dreams of playing Annie; a contemporary musical adaptation of A Christmas Carol written with Angelyn Benson, and his unique “revusical” From This Day Forward: a Schwartz Journey, written with guidance from Stephen Schwartz which uses over 100 Schwartz songs to tell a new, plot-driven musical. Bobby directed and wrote a new book for the 2000 NYC revival of Personals.

Bobby is writing new projects including a film adaptation with book writer Harry McEwan and ’Til Death Do Us Part, a large musical about the mystifying murder of a southern preacher.

Bobby is a graduate of Yale University where he was awarded the prestigious Michael P. Manzella Award for Excellence in Arts, Scholastics and Character.

   
JESSICA REDISH (DIRECTOR/CHOREOGRAPHER) is excited to work with this cast and team. New York credits include: Movement Director for the Lortel Award-winning Adding Machine, A Musical, Director of green eyes at the New York International Fringe Festival, Director/Choreographer for Maccabeat, and choreographer for The Family Fiorelli and Oedipus for Kids! at the New York Music Theatre Festival, Moving Forward, Looking Back by Michael Mahler (co-Conceiver) at the Laurie Beechman Theatre. Regional: And the World Goes ’Round (ariZoni nomination for choreography) and Oklahoma! with Festival 56. Chicago credits: And The World Goes ’Round and What u Will both with La Red Productions and Falsettos at Northwestern University, her alma mater, where she recently served on the Music Theatre Faculty. Jessica has assisted Michael Greif, Christopher Gattelli and at Paper Mill Playhouse. She is a member of SDC and AEA.
   
KEITH HARRISON (MUSIC DIRECTOR) is proud to be a part of the La Red team. Born and raised in Springfield, NJ, Keith moved to the Midwest to attend Northwestern University. Since migrating, he has earned a reputation as one of Chicago's top music directors, pianists, and orchestrators, having shaped the scores of over 30 shows in four years, and collaborating with some of the industry's most respected talent. He is also a prolific singer/songwriter, whose music can be heard at www.keithharrisonband.com.
   
  CHARLES COOPER (LIGHTING DESIGNER) Is excited to be working with La Red for the first time, and with Jessica again after 9 years. Recent credits include OF MICE AND MEN, and FIRST LOOK REPERTORY OF NEW WORK at Steppenwolf Theatre; CURTAINS for Drury Lane Oak Brook; OLD GLORY, AS YOU LIKE IT, ANOTHER PART OF THE FOREST, SEAGULL and THE DOCTOR'S DILEMMA for Writers’ Theatre,; THE DEFIANT MUSE and THE COURT MARSHAL AT FORT DEVENS AND SHOES for Victory Gardens; SHE STOOPS TO CONQUER, and THE CHALK GARDEN for Northlight Theatre; THE OVERWHELMING , WELL and HELEN TOPDOG/UNDERDOG and TRUE WEST (in rotating rep), SPEECH AND DEBATE, HALF OF PLENTY, HERITAGE, AND ORPHEUS DESCENDING for ATC . Charles is An associate artist and frequent collaborator with TimeLine Theatre where he has designed 12 productions. Other Credits include work for, Apple Tree Theatre, and Teatro Vista, Greasy Joan and Co, and numerous other theatres in and around Chicago. Upcoming work includes AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 DAYS for Peninsula Players, ALL MY SONS for TimeLine Theatre; RHYMES WITH EVIL for Infusion Productions; THE BLUE DOOR for Victory Gardens; and AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 DAYS for Indiana Repertory Theatre. AYELETTE RAVIV (SCENIC AND COSTUME DESIGNER) is very excited to be a part of this creative team. An artist and designer, Ayelette developed a passion for production design while assisting several wonderful Chicago-based scenic designers at the Next Theatre Company. In 2005 she was awarded an Ahmanson Foundation Scholarship to attend CalArts, and worked on a number of productions in Los Angeles. Ayelette completed her professional studies at the Accademia Italiana in Rome under the guidance of scenographer Gianni Quaranta. At the Accademia she concentrated on scenic design for operatic productions, and subsequently designed L'amico Fritz by Mascagni for the International Vocal Arts Institute's opera program in Tel Aviv. Ayelette will be returning to the IVAI in July 2009 to design Cosi Fan Tutte by Mozart.
   
CYNTHIA CARNEY (STAGE MANAGER) is excited to be working with La Red Music Theatre. She has a BA in Technical Theater with a concentration in Stage Management from Columbia College Chicago. She has had the opportunity to Stage Manage and Assistant Stage Manage for several shows at Columbia College Chicago including Company (SM), The Rocky Horror Show (SM), and West Side Story (SM). Cynthia also was the ASM for West Side Story at Theater Downtown in Orlando, Fl and she has Stage Managed with Walt Disney World’s theater group S.T.A.G.E (Society of Theater Arts for Growth and Expression). She is a Company Member of Red Tape Theater where she has Stage Manager Dog in a Manager as well as their Fresh Eyes Project.
   

RACHEL FROST (ASSISTANT STAGE MANAGER) is a sophomore at Syracuse University studying Stage Management. Starting at a young age, Rachel has always loved the arts. She attended Harand Theater Camp for nine summers. A graduate of Highland Park High School, she was heavily involved in the Fine Arts Department working on a variety of shows over her four years. She concentrated in tech but also experimented with acting as well as directing. Rachel is very excited to join the La Red team!
